Film Screening of "The Second Ascent". Best Western plus, Valemount. Doors 7:30pm, Film at 8:15pm, Q&A at 9:00pm

Friday, July 3

12:00pm – 7:00pm: Package Pick Up at Best Western Valemount for all 3 distances. 100 km runners must pick up their bibs from the hotel by 7:30 pm on Friday as there is no startline bib pick-up for this distance.

2:00pm – 8:00pm: Alpenglow Marketplace in downtown Valemount

5:00pm: Kids Race at Best Western during Package Pick Up.

8:15pm: Mandatory 100km pre-race Safety Briefing at the start line.

8:30pm: 100km Race Start at Whiskeyfill Farm, Valemount.

SATURDAY, JULY 4

4:30am – 5:30am: Package pick-up for 65km runners at the start line at Whiskeyfill Farm, Valemount.

5:30am – 8:30am: Package pick-up for 38km runners at the start line at Whiskeyfill Farm, Valemount.

5:45am: Mandatory 65km pre-race Safety Briefing at the start line.

Saturday, July 4 (continued)

6:00am: 65km Race Start at Whiskeyfill Farm,
Valemount.

8:45am: Mandatory 38km pre-race Safety Briefing at the start line.

9:00am: 38km Race Start at Whiskeyfill Farm, Valemount.

11:00am – 8:00pm: Alpenglow Marketplace in downtown Valemount

9:00pm: Cut-off for all 3 distances.

SUNDAY, JULY 5

12:00pm – 5:00pm: Post Race Festivities. Sponsored by Whiskeyfill Farm, Vale Coffee, Tourism Valemount.

If you’ve not yet noticed, Sunday is WORTH HANGING AROUND FOR! We’ll have the Awards Presentations, draw prizing, live music, food and drinks for sale, and a local Farmer’s Market! You’ll see everything from locally sourced foods, to Alpenglow themed art prints and souvenirs. There’ll truly be something for everyone on Sunday.

Everything gets going for noon, while all podium awards are handed out at 1pm. Food, drinks, music, Farmer’s Market and festival to follow.
